The reward for the safe return of missing teen at the center of an ongoing AMBER ALERT has been increased to $10,000.

Elizabeth Thomas, 15, went missing with her former teacher Tad Cummins, 50, more than two weeks ago.

Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation believe the pair have a close relationship. However it was unclear if Elizabeth went willingly.

The reward was offered by a former coworker of suspect Tad Cummins. It was originally set for $5,000.

However, it was doubled on Wednesday in hopes of Elizabeth's safe return.
