The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have upgraded an Endangered Child Alert for a 15-year-old from Maury County to an Amber Alert.
Elizabeth Thomas was said to possibly be with suspended Maury County teacher, 50-year-old Tad Cummins, in a Nissan with Tennessee tag 976ZPT.
She was last seen wearing a flannel shirt and black leggings in Columbia and may be in the area of Decatur Alabama.
The teen was described having blonde hair and hazel eyes, about 120 pounds and 5'5" tall.
The Maury County Sheriff's Office was investigating Cummins over an alleged inappropriate incident with a minor student. He was suspended from Culleoka Unit School in February.
