SILVER POINT, Tenn. (WTVF) — Interstate 40 East in Putnam County was closed for a short time in due to a cargo fire.
It happened at mile marker 275 near Silver Point. One lane was quickly opened for traffic to go through.
A viewer video shows a semi truck and trailer had been nearly destroyed by flames.
