17-Year-old Tullahoma Senior Killed In Crash

A 17-year-old Tullahoma High School senior and football team quarterback was killed in a crash in Bedford County.

Authorities with the Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed the wreck happened just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Highway 41-A at the intersection of Car Creek Road.

According to a preliminary report, 17-year-old Eli B. Grow  was driving a Nissan truck when he crossed the center line and hit a second car head-on. Grow’s vehicle then became engulfed in flames.

Grow died at the scene, according to officials.

Two people in the second vehicle, identified as 48-year-old Clint A. Hahn and 48-year-old Lisa L. Hahn, were injured in the crash. The extent of their injuries was unknown.

Grow was active with the Tullahoma High School Wildcats football team, and according to his social media posts, he had recently signed a letter of intent to play football at Mississippi College.

Friends posted condolences online and memories of Grow. On Twitter, Grow had last posted on Thursday:
