Two people were shot in an incident in Clarksville, and police said they’re still tracking down all the details.

The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday in a business parking lot in the 2500 block of Whitfield Boulevard.

Authorities said they responded to that area after multiple 911 calls came in regarding a shooting.

Detectives said they’re still attempting to sort out what took place, but so far, they’ve uncovered bail bond agents believed a man with warrants on file was inside a Nissan car.

While they attempted to serve the warrants, shots were fired and the Nissan fled from the scene almost hitting two people.

That’s when the bail bond agents got into separate vehicles and chased the Nissan on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Authorities said the Nissan stopped around the 2400 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard. That’s when it was discovered that two men inside the Nissan had been shot.

One of them was taken to the hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries, and the second man was treated and released.

Reports stated the investigation remained ongoing.
