Fort Campbell Soldiers Charged In Theft, Resale Of Military Equipment

Six soldiers and two civilians have been indicted after allegedly stealing and reselling military equipment from Fort Campbell.

The indictments were announced Thursday afternoon in Nashville by U.S. Attorney David Rivera.

Eight suspects, including six Fort Campbell soldiers – two of whom are sergeants – have been accused of stealing and reselling $1 million worth of restricted military equipment to buyers within the U.S. and to foreign nations via eBay.

The following suspects were named in the indictment: 

  • John Roberts, 26, of Clarksville
  • Cory Wilson, aka Jason Cory Wilson, 42, of Clarksville 
  • U.S. Army Sargent Michael Barlow, 29, of Clarksville
  • U.S. Army Sargent Jonathan Wolford, 28, of Clarksville
  • U.S. Army Specialist Kyle Heade, 29, of Fort Campbell, Kentucky 
  • U.S. Army Specialist Alexander Hollibaugh, 25, of Fort Campbell
  • U.S. Army Specialist Dustin Nelson, 22, of Fort Campbell
  • U.S. Army Specialist Aaron Warner, 24, of Fort Campbell

The buyers were located in Russia, China, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldova, Malaysia, Romania and Mexico.

Officials said some of the stolen items included sniper telescopes, rifle accessories and body armor.
