Nashville's new Airbnb law has been ruled unconstitutional by a judge.

The Libertarian think-tank The Beacon Center filed their first lawsuit in 2015 challenging the city's regulations for short-term rentals like Airbnb.

The suit was on behalf of PJ and Rachel Anderson who were no longer able to rent out their Germantown home because the new law capped short-term rentals to three-percent in a neighborhood.

On Friday, the judge said the ordinance was too vague for people to understand and ruled it unconstitutional.

The city has now been in the process of reviewing the decision.
