Tickets On Sale Now For Tennessee State Fair

It may not be scheduled till September, but folks can purchase tickets now for the Tennessee State Fair.

Those with the fair said admission tickets and unlimited ride passes have been made available for purchase online.

The fair has been set to feature agricultural and educational exhibits, live music stages, and a midway packed with rides.

The 10-day run of the fair has been scheduled to begin Friday, September 9.

Fair officials said admission tickets can be purchased for $6 for all ages. Wrist bands for rides can be bought for $25. These prices have been set for tickets that are purchased online in advance before opening day.

Prices otherwise for admission at the start of the fair will be:

  • $8 – Adults (ages 18-54)
  • $6 – Youth (ages 3-17)
  • $6 – Seniors (ages 55 and up)
  • Free – Children ages 2 and under

Unlimited ride wristbands purchased at the start of the fair will cost $25 if attending Monday through Friday and $30 if attending Saturday or Sunday.

Fair officials said the State Fair has been a tradition for more than 150 years, with the first fair dating back to 1855.

The fair has attracted more than 100,000 visitors each year.
