NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man has been charged with aggressive panhandling in Nashville after police said his begging for money went too far.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the suspect, identified as Kyle Daly, was intoxicated and may suffer from a mental illness.
He's been accused of screaming profanities and getting physical with several people in Nashville as he asked them for money.
Apparently, he was told repeatedly to leave the scene, but he refused and continued to badger pedestrians in a very aggressive manner.
At that time, police arrived and took him into custody.
No one was hurt.
Daly was charged with aggressive panhandling and trespassing. He would undergo a mental evaluation.
