A father will be charged in the fatal shooting of his 18-year-old son in Donelson.
The shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. Sunday outside a home in the 2800 block of Branwood Drive.
Details on the shooting were limited, but authorities had confirmed it involved 55-year-old Brentnol James and his 18-year-old son, Kobe Hoyle.
Officials said the two got into an argument that turned physical. That led to James suffering an injury to his face. It's alleged he then fatally shot Hoyle who passed away at the scene.
Further details were not immediately available as the investigation remained ongoing.
