Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said a man murdered in Nashville was on the run for a shooting and robbery in Smyrna the night before.
Police said 22-year-old Adrin B. Ohaekwe’s body was found Sunday morning along Old Smith Springs Road.
Witnesses in the area reported hearing what they thought to be gunshots around 1 a.m.
Ohaekwe was believed to have been involved in a drug related shooting and robbery at a Smyrna home Saturday night.
Officials with the Smyrna Police were searching for him because of his believed involvement.
Their warrant charged him with especially aggravated robbery
