After several armed robberies and scares in the area, folks in a Mt. Juliet neighborhood are banding together to fight back against crime.
On Sunday, police say a teen armed with a revolver pointed a gun at a woman and stole her purse in the Publix parking lot in Mount Juliet.
Then Monday, in a possibly related case, a pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint.
At a meeting with residents Thursday, Mt. Juliet police said they've increased patrols in the area -- something neighbors say they've noticed.
Mt Juliet police also encouraged neighbors to follow them on social media.
