A South Nashville church has made plans to build a Tiny Village to help the homeless, but not everyone is on board.

The Village at Glencliff would house 22 micro homes for some of Nashville's neediest. Open Table Nashville is behind the plan that'll provide housing to those most at risk of dying on Nashville's street.

Under the Religious Land Use Act, the church can build the homes without approval from Metro Council.

That has divided people who live in the 16th District. Some adamantly support the project, while others feel the plan was pushed through without much communication with neighbors.

To address concerns, neighbors are holding a community meeting Thursday night.
