A magnitude 3.5 earthquake has been confirmed in Missouri by the United States Geological Survey.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located 10 kilometers north/northwest of Tiptonville, Tennessee near the Mississippi River. It happened around 8:45 a.m. Friday.

According to reports from USGS officials, the earthquake was 12 kilometers deep.
No further details had been released.
