Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department have been looking for a man who shot a pregnant woman outside an East Nashville apartment complex.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 20 year old Timothy White.

Officers say he fired several shots into a vehicle at the Berkshire Place Apartments on Porter Road just before 10 a.m. Thursday morning.

A 19-year-old woman was hit multiple times and remained at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries.

A 20-year-old woman who was dating White was in the passenger seat of the car and was the intended target.

That woman and White recently had a heated argument. She was not injured in the shooting.

White was last known to live on Delta Avenue. He fled the scene of the shooting in a black 2016 Nissan Altima. White has previous convictions for drug possession and evading arrest.

Anyone with information on White's whereabouts has been urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers will be kept anonymous and can qualify for a cash reward.
