NewsChannel 5 has been on the ground in California following the latest developments in the Tad Cummins investigation.
Part of the investigation may include evidence gathered from the cabin in Cecilville, California where Cummins and his student Elizabeth Thomas were staying.
Griffin Barry let the two stay there, not knowing who they were until later when he called the police.
Among the evidence the FBI gathered inside the cabin was four bed rolls, soiled tissues, and personal lubricant.
Maury County Investigators in California said because Cummins went to such great lengths to disguise himself and avoid being caught, it's not a surprise that the TBI got so few tips until his arrest last week.
