Dierks Bentley has been mourning the loss of one of his oldest friends: his beloved dog, Jake.
Bentley shared a photo of Jake on social media Sunday morning and wrote "rest in peace pal."

The 15-year-old dog had been battling cancer.
Dierks' new album "Black" featured a song called "Can't Be Replaced" which was written about Jake.
The shepherd mix has almost been as well-known by fans as the singer himself. He's been by Dierks’ side for countless awards shows and events.
