Unique, Relaxation Tank At Float Nashville

and last updated

It’s unlike anything I’ve ever done, and that’s why I decided to make this a "Must City Must." You really need to check out Float Nashville.

Aside from the fact that the entire experience was super relaxing, it’s extremely good for you, too!

Don’t worry, I’ll walk you through the entire experience.

After being greeted by the owners who make you feel incredibly comfortable, you head into a private room and climb into a sensory deprivation tank.

The atmosphere feels like you’re at a spa. I’m super claustrophobic, so I had my concerns at first, but they quickly faded once I realized how relaxing the experience would be.

The tanks are filled with room-temperature water and 1000+ pounds of Epsom salts, so you basically float like a cork.

Your tank acts as your personal cocoon. Your body is suspended, with your face poking out of the water, as if there is no such thing as gravity.

After a day of constant connection and always being on my phone, it was refreshing to experience no light and no sound. You’re almost forced to enter a meditative state of mind.

Aside from relaxing, there are a ton of added bonuses when it comes to improving your health. Many people have reported that it’s helped relieve symptoms of Fibromyalgia, Lower Back Pain, MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scoliosis, anxiety and even depression.

Floating in that tank for 90 minutes may have just been the most relaxing thing I’ve ever done. By the end of the float, I felt refreshed and renewed. Check them out at floatnashville.com.
