'Bacon, Eggs, & Kegs' Sells Out In Music City

Posted

In case you didn't know just how popular brunch was in Nashville, an event dedicated to brunch sold out before it even started.

Saturday was the first year of the "Bacon, Eggs, and Kegs" event at First Tennessee Park.

Organizers have done it in a few other cities and said they were wildly successful here in Music City.

One ticket bought people free drink tastings, including a 30-foot bloody Mary bar, and there was plenty of food for purchase.

Games were set up in the grassy areas of the ballpark. If you didn't get a ticket in time, the event coordinator said don't worry, they'll be back.

“Amazing sold out crowd today. We are already in the planning stages. We're coming back, picking dates for 2018, and this is a great, great city. Happy to call it our second home,” said Sam Minkoff.

They said they're hoping to release those dates for next year soon.
