Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department have responded to a shooting in South Nashville.
Officials said one person was injured and taken to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries was unknown.
The shooting happened around 4:10 p.m. Wednesday at 62 University Court at JC Napier Homes.
Officers have set up a perimeter in the area while they investigate.
