LEBANON, Tenn. – One person was killed in an early morning crash on Highway 109 in Wilson County.
The wreck happened around 5:12 a.m. Saturday in the 6300 block of the highway.
According to reports, a red Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 24-year-old Thomas Lynch, of Mt. Juliet, rear-ended a red Chevrolet Silverado driven by 62-year-old Dennis Harris, also of Mt. Juliet.
Lynch’s vehicle then crossed the yellow line and crashed head-on into a silver Ford Crown Victoria driven by 64-year-old Robert Murphy, of Gallatin.
Murphy was killed in the crash.
Authorities said Lynch was injured. Harris did not sustain any injuries.
Lynch has been charged with reckless driving, following too close, due care, traffic control device, financial responsibility, and a seat belt charge.
