A man was killed in a possible road rage shooting in Nashville near Nissan Stadium.
The incident happened Friday afternoon on Shelby Avenue near Interstate Drive.
Deangelo Foxx, 32, was shot and killed when police said the driver of another vehicle shot at the car he was in.
According to police Foxx was the passenger in a Toyota Camry driven by his girlfriend, 20-year-old Kassandra Jones.
She was trying to merge into traffic on Shelby Avenue when, according to a witness, words were exchanged between them and the suspected gunman/driver of a white car. The gunman fired multiple shots into the Camry hitting Foxx.
Jones then turned onto Interstate Drive before stopping on Russell Street near South 2nd Street.
Foxx was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
