A 30-year-old man was reportedly shot during an attempted robbery.
The crime happened just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Bakertown Road.
Police said a 30-year-old man had been shot in his left hip and shoulder.
The victim was alert. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with what was believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
According to the victim, the shooting happened outside an apartment complex. He said the suspects possibly fled from the scene in a mid-sized silver vehicle. The investigation remained ongoing.
