NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The city has planned to give $10 million to the Nashville Zoo, but there’s a catch!

Those with the city said the Zoo must match the gift with private donations.

Mayor Karl Dean and the City Council allocated the same amount of money this year as they did back in 2014.

Last year, the Zoo was able to match the funds in five months.

The money has been set to be used to support major new developments.
