An 11-year-old boy has taken to the streets to complete "Noah's March" in his effort to raise awareness and funds for a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
The little boy named Noah was diagnosed when he was 16 months old. Noah's dad said his son was inspired by a 1980 Terry Fox documentary.
Therefore, he decided he would walk cross-country, which amounts to 4,000 across the U.S.
Diabetes kills more people than HIV and breast cancer combined. Noah's goal is to raise awareness and funds for a cure.
Nashville is the 1,157 mile mark for Noah. His ending point is Blaine, Washington.
