13-year-old injured in driveby shooting Christmas day

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 13-year-old was hit during a driveby shooting Christmas day.

Police say the teenager and two adults were walking from a market at Moormans Arm Road and Whites Breek Pike around 11:30 a.m. when a black male drove by and fired shots. He was driving a silver vehicle and wearing a hoodie.

The 13-year-old was hit in the back and taken to Vanderbilt. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

No one else was hit.

The shooter is not in custody. North Precint Police are investigating along with MNPD Youth Services detectives.
