A 13-year-old was rescued from Cummins Falls in Jackson County.
Officials with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said the teen nearly drowned in the lake before being rescued.
It happened Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. at Cummins Falls State Park.
No other details were available, but that the child was pulled safely from the water.
