NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An 18-year-old has been charged in the robbery and shooting of an Uber driver last month.

Cornelus Kenner has been accused of robbing and shooting Josh Rowe when Rowe gave him a ride through the Uber app on December 30.

Metro police said Rowe picked up Kenner on Lena Street. As they were traveling on Herman Street, Kenner is accused of pulling out a handgun and shooting Rowe in the head.

Rowe then got out of his car and Kenner left the scene in his car, police said. Kenner has now been charged with especially aggravated robbery.
