Two people have been facing felony drug charges after detectives conducted a controlled buy.
On Wednesday, authorities met with the two suspects, identified as Wendell Russell and Crystal D. Gibson, in the 2400 block of Brick Church Pike.
Officials said they made contact with the suspects again following the buy and conducted a search of their vehicle.
They found 61 grams of methamphetamine, ten amphetamine pills, six grams of heroin, 44 Suboxone pills, four Suboxone strips, and two sets of digital scales with drug residue.
Reports stated both Russell and Gibson were heard talking over the wire about the narcotics that were to be sold.
They were both arrested facing felony drug charges for possessing the drugs with the intent to sell, deliver, or manufacture.
