Two Franklin Police K-9 were honored in a retirement ceremony.
The K-9 officers, Thor and Axel were celebrated at the police headquarters Friday.
Thor has been on the job since 2011, while Axel has been a crime fighting K-9 since 2008.
K-9 Units are regularly called to help detect drugs, and assist in searches for dangerous felons.
And these two dogs did their jobs and did them well.
Thor and Axel's replacements, Duke and Zeke were in training and would soon hit the streets after graduation.
