Two suspects were being sought after a robbery with a knife at a local gas station.
The robbery happened around 3:41 a.m. Saturday at the Mapco in the 7100 block of Highway 70 South.
Authorities said two male suspects in their late 40’s entered the store wearing stocking caps and flannel shirts.
One was armed with a knife. He went behind the counter and demanded money. The clerk complied, giving the suspect $15.
The second suspect, who was not armed, stole cigarettes.
The suspects fled from the scene in a dark red or maroon SUV towards Highway 100.
The investigation remained ongoing.
