NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A 21-year-old has been arrested in a fatal shooting that happened in 2016.
Reports stated Erick Archibald was taken into custody Thursday after being indicted on charges in the death of 19-year-old Moniteon Smith.
Smith drove to the parking lot of Swett’s Restaurant in the 2700 block of Clifton Avenue on December 3, 2016.
He reportedly waited ten minutes before another vehicle parked beside him. Smith then got into the passenger side of that car, according to police.
A struggle allegedly took place, and when the passenger door opened, Smith fell to the ground.
Archibald has been charged with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. He was being held on a $150,000 bond.
