LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. - Multiple people were injured when an Amish buggy was hit by a vehicle in Lawrenceburg.
According to Lawrenceburg Police officials, the crash happened when the driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old, reached down to pick something up out of her floorboard.
It happened on Highway 43, South of Northside Animal Clinic.
The horse and buggy was carrying an adult and two children - a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old.
They were taken to the hospital but were expected to be okay. The horse was not injured.
