A fire that destroyed a Davidson County home also took the lives of three pets inside.
It happened Wednesday evening at 509 Keeton Avenue in Old Hickory.
The home was a one of several houses on a piece of rental property. Three dogs died in the fire.
Thankfully no people were injured, because the tenants were not home at the time of the fire.
