Three teenagers were arrested after allegedly robbing a cab driver at gunpoint outside an apartment building.
The incident happened at 830 Glastonbury Road, and Jose Calderon-Auguilar, 17, Victor Hernandez, 15, and Francis Hernandez-Aguilar, 17, were later arrested.
An officer spotted the suspect vehicle, a grey Honda Civic, in the 1300 block of Vultee Boulevard. The driver fled onto I-40 East.
Officers deployed spike strips on I-40 East near Old Hickory Boulevard stopping the vehicle.
The three suspects, were then taken into custody. A sawed off shotgun was recovered from the vehicle. One of the teens was in possession of the cab driver’s keys.
They were each charged in Juvenile Court with aggravated robbery.
