A 3-year-old was critically injured after being hit by a car driven by a teenager.
It happened Sunday in Wilson County. The child apparently ran into a lane of traffic and was hit by a 17-year-old.
The child suffered injuries in the head, neck, chest and pelvis area.
Officials said there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol, but teen driver was cited for driving without a license.
