32 Animals Rescued From Heat-Related Emergency

Posted

Your furry family members need to be protected from the dog days of summer, but not all cats and dogs have humans to protect them.

That's when organizations like the Nashville Humane Association step in.

Thursday, they rescued 32 animals from a heat-related emergency in Campbell County.

Now, it's your turn to step in and help the Nashville Humane Association care for these animals.

They need gently used towels, paper towels, and toys. Cash donations are also welcome.

A special adoption event is planned for Saturday, July 21 when they will have $40 adoption fees for all dogs that weigh 40 pounds or more.

They will also have half price adoption fees for all kittens and adult cats through that day.
