A third and final inmate has been captured one week after he and two others escaped from the DeKalb County Jail.

Sheriff Patrick Ray confirmed Tuesday night that 26-year-old Daniel Trey Hamilton was arrested in Fort Myers, Florida after being involved in a traffic crash.

He was placed into custody in Lee County, Florida, where he’s awaiting extradition back to DeKalb County.

Ray said Hamilton will be charged with escape.

Officials said Hamilton broke out of the jail annex on November 22, along with 38-year-old Jack Mullican, Jr. and 32-year-old Bryon Ray Gibbs.

Margaret Ann Taylor was later arrested for allegedly permitting or facilitating an escape.

According to reports, Taylor picked up Gibbs and Hamilton in Smithville knowing they had escaped. She allegedly took them to several different locations in DeKalb County before leaving them at a home there.

Two others, 40-year-old Miranda Nicole Johnson and 29-year-old Jessica Anne Jenkins, were also arrested and charged.
