3rd Suspect Arrested In Bojangles' Shooting

The third man behind wanted in a shooting at the Clarksville Bojangles' restaurant has been arrested and charged.

Officials with the Clarksville Police Department arrested 26-year-old Robert McCracken Tuesday, Jan. 26.Two suspects were arrested about two weeks prior to the third arrest.

The incident happened on January 15 at the Bojangles' in the 1800 block of Tiny Town Road.

Officials said Timothy Grant and 26-year-old Dustin McCracken had agreed to meet 30-year-old Theresa Cobb at Bojangles'. She was asking to purchase a large amount of Opana pills.

Authorities confirmed McCracken did not have any pills and conspired with Grant to rob her.

Once Cobb got into their vehicle and showed them the money, a fight ensued when McCracken tried to grab the money from her. No weapons were involved at that time.

Police said that’s when 28-year-old Kyle Heade approached the driver's side of the vehicle and began firing numerous rounds from a 9mm handgun.

Grant was hit five times and was taken to Gateway Hospital by McCracken. Officials said McCracken then left the car on Ferris Street.

Authorities said Grant had been released from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and confirmed he was doing well.
