NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Seven women who have had huge impacts on Nashville were honored Thursday.
Longtime activists and community leaders Clare Armistead, Janet Ayers, Inez Crutchfield, Annette Eskind, Carrie Gentry, Rosetta Miller-Perry, and Colleen Conway-Welch were all awarded with the Joe Kraft Humanitarian Award.
Past winners of this award include Monroe Carrol Jr., John Seigenthaler, and Chet Atkins.
