WAVERLY, Tenn. (WTVF) — An 81-year-old man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Humphreys County.
The incident happened late Sunday night on Highway 13 in Waverly.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a driver was traveling northbound when the victim, identified as Ralph Neely, stepped into the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said no charges would be filed against the 79-year-old driver.
