NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The man accused of a murder at James Cayce Homes surrendered to police.
Metro Nashville Police officials said fugitive 40-year-old Shanon Pleasant surrendered to officers at the East Precinct Wednesday evening.
Pleasant allegedly shot and killed 39-year-old Horace Whitley in an apartment on S. 8th Court in the James Cayce public housing development.
The investigation showed that after the shooting, Whitley’s body was dragged to a nearby woodline, where it was later discovered.
Pleasant was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of criminal homicide.
Anassadi Henderson, 23, was arrested on Monday as an accomplice.
