Adidas commissioned 12 women artists to create a special, one-of-a-kind tennis shoes to represent each state.
The artists were chosen with the help of Refinery29. The sneakers are being sold in an online auction, and all of the proceeds will go to Women Win, a charity devoted to advancing women's leadership.
Adidas said the limited edition sneakers called "BOOST the Nation collection" was created for women by women to unite creativity through sport and reflect the nation’s individuality.
Anyone interested in buying the shoes, can place silent bids until July 11.
Each artist used various mediums specific to each state to create the design of the shoes.
Tennessee's sneaker was an interesting take on the well-known Memphis BBQ.
