Workers at American International Group locations in Middle Tennessee picked up their belongings after a massive round of layoffs.
Officials with AIG said in a statement Thursday they restructured the AIG Financial Network and it involved staff reductions at locations throughout the U.S.
Employees were given between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to pick up their belongings and discuss their severance package with an AIG Financial rep.
Workers told NewsChannel 5 they, unfortunately, they were let go without warning.
