An all-clear was given after reports of a gun prompted concern at a Macy’s warehouse in Portland.
Reports began surfacing on social media Friday morning that the building had been evacuated.
“Macy's in Portland in [sic] on lockdown someone pulled out a gun with bullets in it,” one user wrote on Twitter.
The Portland Police Department later confirmed that concern was sparked after an employee heard someone talking about a gun.
Officers responded to the plant on Vaughn Parkway and found the area to be safe. No one was hurt.
