Officers have arrested a man for allegedly robbing women in the Nashville area after they finished shopping.
Officials said Dusan Simic is behind bars and has been charged in multiple robberies.
On the afternoon of July 20, police said he followed a woman to her car at a Walmart on Nolensville Pike and pepper-sprayed her before dragging her out of her car and stealing the vehicle.
One week ago, he allegedly struck again. In the most recent incident, Simic allegedly stole a woman's purse as she was unloading her car after shopping.
Police said he may have followed the woman and her young son home from a different south Nashville Walmart.
Days later, Simic was arrested after officers reportedly found him in a stolen car. He was taken into custody after a short foot chase.
Detectives said they’re looking into whether Simic could be connected to other robberies. His photo was not immediately available.
