NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A gas station in southeastern Davidson County has been hit by burglars for the second time in two weeks.

The incident happened shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday at a Shell Station on Bell Road in Antioch.

The burglars were able to smash the front door with a large rock and make their way into the building. The suspects got away with about 30 cartons of cigarettes.

In a similar situation, the store was burglarized last week around the same time. The store's manager said he believes the same suspects were responsible for smashing into the business last week.

"I hope they are able to catch these guys because a lot of business owners are losing a lot of money," he said.

In that incident, two males wearing masks smashed the door with large rock and took 40 cartons of cigarettes and around $500 in cash from register.

The store has been closed for the time being while police remained on the scene.

Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
