NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Apartment buildings at River Chase Apartments near East Nashville have sustained damage following a shootout in the area. At least one was injured in the shootout.
Initial calls for the shootout were made just after 2 p.m. It took place on the corner of North Second Street and Meridian Street.
According to officers on the scene, two vehicles were involved in the shootout. The occupants of the cars shot at each other.
Some apartment buildings were hit during the shootout. One person inside one of the apartments was shot in the head. The injury was not deadly.
