NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A single-car crash closed a portion of the Ashland City Highway in Davidson County, just north of Nashville Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, in between Old Hickory Boulevard and Briley Parkway.
A driver apparently struck a power pole, causing the lines to fall onto the roadway. It was not known if the person was injured.
The Ashland City Highway, also known as Highway 12, was shut down in both directions as a result of the incident. It has now reopened.
