A motion has been filed for a new trial for Zach Adams, recently sentenced in the murder of Holly Bobo.
Adams' attorney, Jennifer Thompson, confirmed on Thursday she filed the motion for a new trial.
Adams was found guilty on all counts in the case. He was sentenced to serve life in prison without the possibility of parole after lawyers reached a plea deal with the state in the Holly Bobo murder trial.
The decision was reached Saturday, September 23 in Hardin County court before jurors were brought in for the sentencing phase.

Adams will serve life in prison, plus consecutive terms of 25 years for both the kidnapping and rape convictions.
